   Little Anglesi

Is the name of St George’s new Pre-School group for carers and toddlers. All children aged new born to starting school are welcome, so long as they bring a carer with them (parent, grandparent, child minder etc.)

They will meet in the Church Hall every Thursday afternoon, 1.30pm – 3.00pm under the leadership of Sharleen Hazell and Laura Kelso with help from Lisa Johnson. Thursday afternoon has been chosen because it doesn’t clash with any other local toddler groups.

Admission will cost £1 per family and there will be refreshments.

The PCC has bought new play equipment, for which there simply wasn’t room when they met up in the tower. This money has come from the Barrack St. and Lady Hastings Trust, funds designated for work with children and young people.

Please remember to pray for Little Angles and its leadership, and especially for the young families St Georges will be put in contact with through the group.

The Lady Hastings Trust money has also been used to pay for some new equipment for our new Play Pen at the west end of the church as we continue to try to offer a warm welcome to young families.

Speaking of young families… The PCC think it best that All Age Praise will move to the FIRST Sunday of the month from April, and Baptisms will take place in the Communion Service on the 3rd Sunday of the month as far as possible.

Please remember all of this in your prayers.
